Container standard events & movements version 2024

Visiwise Product Update: v2 of standard events and movements

At Visiwise, our aim has always been to provide a user-friendly tracking system that everyone can understand with minimum effort, contributing to the digital transformation in the supply chain industry. As we navigate through the era of digital evolution, we’ve harnessed the power of AI-friendliness to enhance our commitment to structured data, ensuring seamless integration into AI, ERP systems, and spreadsheets.

In version 2 (2024), we’ve redefined standard events, blending readability and integration, inspired by the DCSA Standard. While DCSA excels in ocean logistics, our focus is on seamless visibility, eliminating the need for users to manipulate data for critical insights. This not only makes our system user-friendly but also positions Visiwise as a key player in the digital transformation reshaping the supply chain landscape.

What are the key benefits of the new movement version?

Unified Standard Events Across Shipping Lines: Our standardization ensures uniform events and conventions across shipping lines, simplifying tracking reports for effortless interpretation.

Easy-to-Read Standard Events: Our enhanced format ensures that even non-experts can comprehend new events effortlessly, eliminating the need for logistics expertise.

More Accurate Location Matching: Version 2 introduces precise facility information, including terminal or depot names, enhancing container location accuracy.

Integration-Friendly Data Structure (Enhanced in Version 2): Building reports or integrating tracking information with ERP or TMS systems is now smoother with our upgraded data structure.
